My beads have been featured on the front cover of 'Beads and Beyond' magazine in Eve Smith`s 'Eternal Beauty' necklace - they are the turquoisey shard ('Ethereal') beads below.

Thankyou Eve so much for you hard work.

Oh dear.....

The clutch has gone in my boyfriend`s car and it`s going to be expensive.... something to do with a dual mast fly wheel or something or other! Boooo :(

So, I have added lots of beads to the
Destash! bead page to help pay for it. Once the're gone, they`re gone!

P.S I seem to be having a few glitches with my email... so if you have sent me any messages, I am not ignoring you - please resend them :)

Thankyou,

Clare x

Featured Artist

I had an exciting email from Lesley Lake (www.eleljewellery.co.uk) this morning to say that we have been selected as 'Featured Artists' on Beaders showcase along with four other artists.

Apparently selection is based on members ratings of the photos you upload.
It is lovely to know my work is actively appreciated.

Beads from the bead press....

Ok, so I promised I would post some pics of the beads I created with the new bead press called 'Links' from
Mike`s Brass for Glass -
www.mikesbrassforglass.com

It is a 4 - in - 1 bead press. Meaning you can create four different shaped beads in just one tool. Clever huh?!

If you use all the shapes, you can make a set of beads that fit together - I have never seen anything like it. This set sold very quickly indeed.
If you prefer to use just one of the shapes, the end result is equally as stunning.

Exciting News.....

I have recently been approached by Mike & Debbie Rainney of Mikes Brass For Glass - http://www.mikesbrassforglass.com to 'test drive' one of their new bead presses.

This press is so new it doesn't have a name yet - although there are a few possibilities. It looks quite Mexican & tribal to me.

I can only show you this picture until I get my hands on the press from the US in the next few days....

I just hope I can do it justice.

Watch this space!

Talented customers...

'Hawthorne & Gorse' by Hilary

Well, I knew all my wonderful customers/friends were talented, just have a look at my customers gallery - it is bursting full of wonderful jewellery created with my beads.
These lovely people are gifted in other ways too!

I love finding out about people, especially their creativity, it is so exciting. I am so rubbish at talking about myself (I`m sure you don`t want to read about my boring life!), so I thought I would add to my blog a bit of info about these hidden talents.

Hilary and Jenny are sisters who share a love of making jewellery.... and as it turns out... photography.
Every now and again I am lucky enough to be emailed their wonderful photos. They especially interest me as I share their love of nature.
'Hogweed' by Jenny

Hilary and Jenny`s photographs are in this post - which I`m sure you`ll agree with me are fantastic.

Thankyou Hilary and Jenny xx
